There can be wisdom in “owning” physical items in our age: bibles, books, and yes, CD’s.  Hope to blog about this at some point.  We felt it was wisdom to get these made in the window of time we are in.

THROUGH THIS VEIL, Volumes 1 and 2 …..the vision and intention

Each song in this work is intended to  invite, convey, declare and/or  encounter  some aspect of the unfathomable riches of knowing God, and receiving the immeasurable gift He offers every person to “Come Home” to Him.  It is our prayer that this music will in some way represent Him–and the unmatched beauty of Who He– our Creator, Suffering Servant and Soon Coming King truly is.

The title song and opening “Through This Veil” is a declaration of Who He is, and shall ever be: It is both a proclamation, and a prayer that “Through this Veil” (this life, our existence in this age of partial sight) “truth prevails”.

This opening prepares our hearts to “enter into His courts where ‘All Things Praise’ and simply to come and praise/worship the One Who alone is worthy.

These initial praise songs are followed–through to track 14 on Vol 2– by more intimate encounter offerings centered in themes of enjoying His presence, full surrender, the reality of spiritual warfare, and invitation of our Bridegroom King into the abundant life He offers and supplies both now and into eternity.

Each  song* was birthed out of personal experience, relentless desire to know Him, and/or an unexpected download. All glory is His.  The songs are intentionally ordered to follow one after the other from Track 1 (Vol 1) through Track 14  (Vol 2).  This is ideally the best way to “enter in” to the true story they tell. 

*Note: The final song is one familiar to many “Down in the Valley” (original title) and better known as “Down in the River”. We felt it was the perfect song to end the first 2 volumes as an invitation to all (brothers, sisters, sinners, mourners)  “Let’s go down in the valley to pray”.  The songs as a whole are meant to proclaim truth, extend invitation into the true family of God (Jew and Gentile) as well as prophetically warn of coming judgment.  However, grace is available today–perhaps not tomorrow–but in this moment, available.

In short:  There is no greater story than that of our Creator offering us forgiveness of our sins against Him:  There is no one, not in need of this; and there is no other way to be reconciled to God but through the Way He alone provides.   His offer:  eternal life–versus eternal separation– overcoming victories, joy, hope, peace, and endless discoveries of the beauty of God  that is the natural outcome of restored relationship with Him.

These 15 original songs are arranged in a sequential order that begins with a cry for revival and culminates in songs anticipating the return of Messiah. Individual songs focus on various themes, including God’s revelation of Himself to Israel and the nations, salvation by grace alone, Jesus/Yeshua as Bridegroom, the valley experience and surrender, and the Lord as our Faithful Shepherd.

This intimate true story records Faith’s unexpected reunion in 1999 with her entire birth family. Placed for adoption in infancy, she was given the name “Faith” by her birth mother in the hope that they would one day be reunited. The reader is invited to experience each step of Faith’s journey as the amazing outpouring of blessing unfolded, bringing restoration and healing to both Faith and her birth parents. Her personal testimony of coming to faith in Messiah is woven into the telling of this beautiful Heavenly Father directed true life story.

Trusting, in God’s timing for the release of this work in its final version.

Inspiration for this illustrated spiritual journey “map”, was birthed out of Faith’s own ongoing walk with the Lord. Themes include redemption, restoration/relationship, community/Body of Christ/Messiah, divine separations, sanctification, betrothal/covenant promises, testing/obedience, spiritual warfare, God’s appointed times, and the hope set before us.   This work has been in process, but on the back burner for some time.  Hope to resume work on this, as God provides, at some point following completion of current CDs

These cards are intended to draw attention to the visual beauty of our Creator’s handiwork–through candid photos capturing “one moment”; and to invoke Godly, Spiritual principles and/or references to eternal truths via simple text within.  (A few selections, however, are blank inside).    As exemplary,  the text within the card featured here is:  Every hair is numbered, and even the waves obey Him.
