We all come with varied experience individually--see bios in "Who We Are". As a ministry team, we believe the Lord has desired to unite from time to time the various streams of giftings He has blessed us with. That is, Spring of Gihon Ministries can operate through one person or several, depending upon any particular invitation/appointment.

Experience-individually and as a team, includes praise and worship, teaching, prayer ministry, sharing of testimonies, organizing/hosting Spring of Gihon Retreats and/or ministering at retreats hosted by others, evangelistic outreach, music ministry for "instructional Passover Seders", facilitating Bible studies and leading discipleship groups.

We are also of the belief that in relationship with the Lord, we, the redeemed in every generation, are called to be in constant availability for any variety of occasions--these being the 'good works' prepared beforehand that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10). As He determines, these can in any given day include: seed planting, watering or harvesting, edifying and encouraging, acts of service etc., as we minister His truth, love, and witness to our families, friends, and all those in our spheres of influence.

Spring of Gihon Ministries was birthed in 2003.

Spring of Gihon is a ministry recognized by Christian and Messianic Leadership (see endorsements). As a ministry, we are guided by biblical principles of tithe and offerings; We currently tithe from donations designated for "Spring of Gihon Ministries" into our "Disbursement Streams" ministries. In addition, 5% of all products sold are disbursed among these ministries. (see disbursement streams page.)
We are not a registered 501(c)3 organization, but rather operate as a "tent making" ministry. After much prayer, this seemed to be the direction the Lord was leading in. All donations to the ministry are gladly accepted and we render unto Caesar what is Caesar's (That is, whatever tax due will be rendered.) Monies brought in via the ministry are used toward the support of those who minister and to support the vision and work of the ministry. We trust the Lord for His perfect provision to do the work He has called us to.

Spring of Gihon Ministries was launched in obedience to what was believed to be the call of the Lord through a combination of donated facilities, time, skills, love offerings and personal finances provided by the Lord and deemed for this purpose. Currently the ministry is supported by the above, as well as ministry-related product sales. Simultaneous projects are in various levels of completion--e.g., greeting card line, recorded music, books, and other items designed to glorify God and hopefully draw those who encounter them to Him, in whatever way He desires. Support by the Body of Messiah is truly greatly appreciated and enables us to do what we are called to do.

Yes, original music along with the inspired music of others is included. Most all sets will include both. We come not to perform a "concert" but rather with desire to engage with the assembly in a corporate encounter with the Lord.
